Dubai unveils $9.26bn Gold Line metro with 18 stations, 42km route and Etihad Rail links, set to serve 1.5m people by 2032

Dubai has unveiled new details of its AED34bn ($9.26bn) Gold Line metro project, a 42km route with 18 stations set to serve 1.5m residents and connect 55 major developments across the emirate.

His Excellency Matar Al Tayer confirmed that the Gold Line of the Dubai Metro represents a new strategic step within the journey of developing the public transportation system in the emirate, pointing out that the project enhances connectivity between the Red and Green Lines, and integrates with the Union Train to form a main axis linking Dubai to the comprehensive national transportation system.
